June 12 - Rest Day in Missoula, MT

Linda is still with us until later today.  She will fly back home to Colorado tonight.  We talked and laughed the night away - not sure exactly how much rest I got!

We had several things to get done today.

Bikes - Michael needed a new chain.  Eric needed his brakes adjusted.  I needed my handle bars extended.  Eric & Michael were able to get their bikes fixed, but I was not.  New plan is to go to a bike shop tomorrow in Hamilton.  Fingers crossed we make it early enough to get the needed work done.

We had a nice tour of the Adventure Cycling Association headquarters provided by Amy.   The ACÁ is the group that creates  and publishes the maps we follow.  They have over 46,000 miles of cross country bicycle routes mapped.

We had a quick lunch, so that Linda and I could find a place for a massage and a pedicure.  While the pedicure was not essential (just fun),  I desperately needed a massage.  We walked until we were exhausted then finally asked a woman who was able to direct us to a place where we might be in luck.  And...we were.  We both got pedicures and I had a massage.

While we were out, Michael took care of returning extra food, etc. to Trina to give to Denise.  Denise plans to transfer our supplies to Lesa, a friend of Anne-Renee, who will be joining us in W. Yellowstone.

Eric had a long list of jobs to do today, and we didn't see much if him until dinner.  We had dinner at a Mexican restaurant before saying goodbye to Linda.

Life is great...but goodbyes are sad~
